We also won the Rollie Hoover Team Sportsmanship Award
Rollie Hoover Award
Rollie Hoover was the first Head Official of the Junior National Duals.  As a long-time coach and official from Indiana he was known for his knowledge and dedication to our sport and would visit with the coaches and athletes on how he would expect them to act in a dual setting.  He died in Sweden at the airport on a trip overseas.  Rollie was truly a great ambassador for the sport of wrestling.  This award has been given to the team showing the best sportsmanship, team camaraderie, and best example of how Rollie would have expected a team to react in the Junior Dual Championships for the last fourteen years.  It is voted on by all the mat officials working this tournament.  This year, Team Ohio was nominated and secured the largest number of votes to win the Rollie Hoover Award for sportsmanship.
