THREE MUSTANGS HEADED TO COLUMBUS!!!!
The Mustang wrestling team placed 9th of 46 teams at the Ashland District this past weekend. Junior Kyle Swan advanced to the State Tournament with a fourth place finish. Also advancing to Columbus by securing Alternate positions were Junior Kevin Sholtz and Senior Eric Brooks.
7 Mustangs Advance to District Tournament at Ashland
The Mustang Grapplers advanced seven wrestlers and two alternates to the District Tournament at Ashland High School this weekend. Advancing for the Mustangs were Jake Demio (4th at 103), Kevin Scholtz (4th at 112), Michael Bolger (4th at 119), Eric Brooks, (4th at 135), Kyle Swan (3rd at 152), Alex Pangrace (3rd at 160), and Clay Angeloff (4th at 171). Other Mustangs placing at the tough Medina Sectional were Kyle Perri (6th at 125), Nick Chrzanowski (5th at 140), and David Stauder (5th at 189).

MUSTANGS TAKE 3rd AT NOC TOURNAMENT
The wrestlers took third place at the 3rd Annual NOC Wrestling tournament this past weekend. The wrestlers had a total of seven placers at what is considered one of the toughest conference tournaments in the state. They were led by Eric Brooks who took 2nd place at the 135 lb weight class. Also placing for the Mustangs were Michael Bolger (6th @ 119), Evan Evangelista (4th @ 125), Nick Chrzanowski (4th @ 140), Alex Pangrace (3rd @ 160), David Stauder (3rd @ 189), and Arshak Asriyan (6th @ 215).
