I sent out a bar of defense soap with everyone last night this is to be used when they get home from practice daily to prevent any skin infections. NHS will pay for the first bar the next is on you. If you have any concerns about the bars please check out this website for more info or also where you can order more. www.defensesoap.com
“Wow” What a truly great first week of practice. This WEEK we finished with a mini tournament on Friday with all our new wrestlers and it was GREAT!
Let’s continue with the hard work and the INDIANS are on track for a great season.
Congratulations to JUAN PRIETO 9th who earned athlete of the week honors
Dear Parents,
There is one thing we all have in common here: We all care very deeply about a student athlete who is participating in the Napa High Wrestling Program. I know that you want them to have a good experience in wrestling this season… and beyond. I know that you want him to be successful. What I would like to do at this point is to help you make your child’s experience in wrestling a good one AND to help YOU help them to succeed.
I’m so excited to get another great season underway. We have an excellent group of athlete’s returning for another great year and plenty of new athletes that are ready to begin their high school wrestling journey. I’ve been coaching here at Napa High since 1995 and I continue to love the sport of wrestling more every year, it has truly being a blessing having it a part of my life. This letter will give you some information about the program that will guide you in the right direction for success with your sons & daughters wrestling experience here at Napa High.
Communication amongst everyone must be the most important thing that we do as coaches, parents & an athlete. Wrestling is a very demanding sport both physically, timely, and mentally. My coaching staff and I preach to our athletes that hard work and discipline will pay off in the long run, so as parents we expect you to be on board so the ship cruises smoothly.
Thanks,
Coach Franco
