Lady Wolves Going for Back to Back AA State Championships!!
The Lady Wolves stormed the Macon Centreplex and caged the Lady Wildcats of Laney for the second straight year to earn a spot in the AA State Championship game for the second straight year. The Lady Wolves started the game in usual fashion with high pressure full court defense which lead to Laney turnovers and fast break points for the Lady Wolves. Lacey Pass's off balance three point shot at the end of the first quarter signed good things to happen in the next three quarters, as she connected on five three pointers and a career high 15 points in the game. The Lady
Wolves defense was again strong as they held the high scoring Laney offense to only 49 points in the game, which usually produced a potient 75 points per contest. Alysha Rudnik played her usual rounded game which produced 12 points and 8 rebounds, while Andraya Carter poured in a game high 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals in the winning effort. All the Lady Wolves produced a great team effort on defense and offense, which lead to a 62 to 49 victory. With the win, the Lady Wolves will play this Saturday at 3:00 vs Vidalia for the chance to win consecutive AA State Titles.
