The Canton Chiefs have qualified six wrestlers for Individual Regionals. At 112 Waleed Faraj finished in third place to continue his road to the state championships. At 119 senior captain, Carl Lucke, took second place. Donnie Watkins continued his spectacular season by winning a district title at 135 pounds defeating John Glenn's Jared Stephens in the finals. Brent Winekoff continues to roll as he earned pins and tech falls throughout the tournament to win the district championship at 145. Sophomore Anthony Abro (152) and Junior Keith Zech also qualified by finishing third and fourth in the district. The MHSAA Individual Regional Championships will take place on February 28 at Woodhaven High School.

For those of you new to this, our event consists of a great dinner (your choice of chicken or beef) and an open bar for the evening. Once dinner concludes, the fun really begins!!!
There are auction packages ranging from Tiger tickets to a weekend golf package and a varsity jacket and many other neat things. A professional auctioneer will be conducting this portion of the festivities. You can also buy raffle tickets which you drop in a container in front of the item you wish to take a chance on. We also have money boards that you buy a square on.
But the most exciting part of the evening is our MONEY DRAWING. We do a reverse drawing where the last 3 names left in the drawing vie for the cash prizes of $2000, $1000 and $500.
This year we have several ticket options:
1. $100 Ticket – which includes dinner, an open bar all evening and your chance in the money drawings.
2. $50 tickets that include dinner and the open bar. This ticket may only be bought when a $100 one is purchase.
3. Also. if you are unable to enjoy dinner we have a $50 ticket that gets you into the drawing.
Everyone is able to enjoy participation in the Auction, Raffles and Money Boards.
