Coach Manders enters his twelth season as the Wolves soccer coach.  He is from Athens, Georgia.  He is married to the former Kelly Gilbert of Dothan, Alabama.  They have two daughters Emma Grace, who is 7 and Lila Isabel, who is 22 months.  Coach Manders is the physical education teacher at Buford Elementary School.  He received his undergraduate degree in Health/Physical Education and Sports Studies with an emphasis in coaching and elementary physical education from the University of Georgia and his masters degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georiga.  He received his specialist degree in teaching and learning through Piedmont College.  In his eleven seasons with the Wolves, he has led the Wolves to two region runner ups and one region championship.  He has also lead the Wolves to three Sweet Sixteens and one Elite Eight appearance.  He believes that you get out of soccer what you put into it.  The will to win means nothing without the will to prepare.  He is looking forward to another great season.  He also believes that senior leadship is the key to a great season.  Leadership is action, not position.  He strives to work hard with the seniors to help lead his teams on and off the field.

Name: Patrick "SanYeti" Logan
Position: JV Head Coach
Year(s): 2012
Coach Logan enters his first year of Buford Soccer.  In his native woods of Western Canada he was seen kicking wood shaped soccer balls.  The coaches thought he would be a great addition to the program.  He enjoys long walks in the woods and mimicking animal noises.  We frequently have to remind the refs that he is a coach and not a pet as he is apt to indulge in strange animal behaviors.  When he has seen a red card, he has charged like a bull screaming the well known chewbaca language.  Many refs have run for their lives. Frequently, he can be seen beside Coach Chambers, who is his handler.
