Coach Barton grew up in Helen, Ga. and attended White County High School. He then attended North Georgia College and State University. He is currently in his second year of teaching, his first at Buford, classes of American Literature. Before becoming a teacher, Coach Barton spent the previous 7 years of his career as a PGA golf instructor. When not teaching, reading or playing golf, Coach Barton enjoys spending time with his family and fishing the streams of North Georgia with his father and brother.

Coach Johnson grew up in Snellville, Ga where he attended South Gwinnett High School. After graduating from Georgia Tech with a BS in Management, he received his Masters of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont University. Coach Johnson is currently in his eighth year teaching at Buford High School and serves as the Math Department Head. He has worked as the Director of Operations for Buford Football the past seven years, while also coaching varsity and 9th grade baseball. He is married to his wife Mandie, a fourth grade teacher at Buford Academy, and is the proud father of a beautiful one year old daughter, Blakeley. In addition to playing golf, Coach Johnson enjoys spending his free time working out, reading, and cheering on his Yellow Jackets.
