The golf progam will celebrate the 2012 golf season with an awards ceremony in the BHS Auditorium on May 22nd at 7:00pm. All players and their families are invited to attend!
Congratulations to Aly Hicks who qualified as an individual and shot a 92 in the AA Girls State Tournament on Monday (5/7). Aly has accepted a scholarship to continue her golf career at Shorter University in the fall of 2012.
The Buford girls placed 3rd at the Region 6AA Tournament at Cobble Stone Golf Club on April 25th. Aly Hicks qualified for the AA State Tournament on May 7th as an individual with an 89, good enough for 4th overall. Bailey Burnette contributed a 96 (6th place). Aly and Bailey led the team, as seniors, in a season that included wins over Jefferson, Flowery Branch, Blessed Trinity, Lovett, Mtn View, Winder, and Commerce.
The Buford boys placed 4th at the Region 6AA Tournament at Dogwood Golf Club on April 23rd. Windy conditions made for difficult play as the Wolves were led by Jake Mitchell and Steven Wysocki at 85. The boys wrap up a successful season including wins over GAC, Archer, Mtn. View, Stephens County, Jefferson, Commerce, Walker, West Hall and Winder. The boys were led by seniors Jake Mitchell, Joey Dando, Lucas Thompson, and Tanner Corley.

The Buford boys finished 4th out of 9 teams in the Falcon Invitational hosted by Flowery Branch at Reunion Saturday (4/13). The boys were led by Steven Wysocki's 77 and Jake Mitchell's 81.
The Buford golf teams swept West Hall at Legacy on Lanier Thursday (4/11). The girls won 101-112 behind Aly Hicks' 48. The boys were led to a 172-214 win by Joey Dando's 41.
The Buford golf teams swept Winder-Barrow at Chateau Elan on Tuesday (4/10). The Wolves defeated the Bulldogs in the girls match 96-111 led by Aly Hicks' 46. The boys won 163-187 behind a 39s posted by Luke Simpson and Steven Wysocki.
The Buford golf teams returned to action after Spring Break Monday (4/9) with a split against Archer at Chateau Elan. The boys pulled out a 184-196 win with Logan Nance and Austin Moeller shooting 45's to lead the Wolves. The girls fell to Archer 95-94 as Aly Hicks shot a 45 to lead the girls.
