The Varsity Wolves picked up their first win of the season Wednesday night, defeating Winder-Barrow on the road 11-5.  Senior Sam Clay got the start for the Wolves and worked 3+ innings.  Clay struck out 3, walked 3 and allowed 6 hits and 4 runs.  Josh Bryan worked the next 3+ innings, allowing 1 unearned run on 1 hit with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks.  Austin Upshaw came on in the 7th with the bases loaded and 1 out and retired 2 hitters on infield popouts. 

Offensively, the Wolves had several players contribute to the win.  Upshaw went 2-4, 2 doubles, and 2 RBI's; Clay Gant went 1-3 with 2 RBIs; Kyler Berrett went 2-5 with 2 runs; Brian Malone went 2-4 with 1 RBI; Josh Bryan went 1-3 with a double and 2 RBI's; Shawn Reynolds went 1-4 with a double and 2 RBI's and Sam Clay went 1-4 with an RBI.
