Ryan Daniel passed away unexpectedly in January of 2012 and will be missed by the community, the high school and the baseball program.  Ryan played baseball and football for Buford High School from 1997-2000 and returned to coach both sports the past 5 years following a playing football and graduating from Catawba College.  Ryan was the rarest of guys who made everyone else feel better because of his upbeat attitude and his others first heart.  The big, lefthanded first baseman was a 4 year letterman and 3 year starter for the Wolves as well as a 4 year letterman and 3 year starter on the offensive and defensive lines for the football Wolves.  Ryan will be missed each and everyday by the baseball program but never forgotten for his contributions to this program, this school and this community.
