Coach Wolfe recently completed his 16th season as Head Coach of the Wolves Baseball Program. Wolfe has guided the Wolves to 303 wins, 11 state playoff appearances and the 2011 AA State Championship. 37 former players have signed baseball scholarships during Wolfe's tenure. Coach Wolfe played high school football and baseball at Gainesville High School, winning the 1978 State Championship in baseball his senior season. Following high school, Coach Wolfe played 1 season at Gordon Junior College and 3 seasons at Piedmont College. Coach Wolfe has guided the Lady Wolves Softball Program to 5 State Championships (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) in his 5 seasons as head coach. Coach Wolfe also helped Buford to 3 State Championships in football, serving as running back coach from 1996-2003, 2005-2006. Coach Wolfe teaches 9th grade World Geography and has taught U.S. History, Psychology, Sociology and Yearbook in addition to his coaching duties.
