Buford Softball takes 2 weeks off before resuming practice on July 15th. High School 4:00-5:30, Middle School 5:30-7:00.

Alysha Rudnik commits to play for Ga. Tech following her senior year at Buford.
Whitney Holman plays in G.A.C.A. North-South All-Star games going 2-3 on the day. Whitney will be playing at North Georgia College this fall.
Softball Camp 2009
The Lady Wolves softball camp had a record 64 campers this summer. The Wolves coaching staff and team worked camp again this summer.
Ashley Razey transfers to the University of Georgia and is set to play the 2010 season following an outstanding freshman season at the University of Southern Mississippi where she made the Conference U.S.A. All-Freshman team.
Shelbi Valek led her Waunakee H.S. (Wisconsin) team to the State Quaterfinals at the Univesity of Wisconsin this spring, posting a 15-1 record in the circle with a 1.02 ERA. Shelbi transfered to Waunakee last summer when her dad was transfered. This was Waunakee's first state tournament appearance since 1987. Shelbi was the starting firstbaseman on Buford's 2007 state championship team.
ASA Nationals
6 Current Lady Wolves have qualified for Nationals later this summer. Alysha Rudnik, Melissa Dickie, Karly Fullem, Chelsie Thomas, Kallie Case and Lexi Overstreet will be attending Nationals in July. |
